When you just start growing cannabis there is a lot to sort out. For example, is it better to grow indoors or outdoors and what do you need when you first start? Today’s question: does it matter if you grow Indica or Sativa?
Indica
Indica’s are popular with people who want to grow at home because the plant offers advantages for both indoor and outdoor growers. Indica plants don’t grow too tall and are more forgiving. And because of a short flowering time and higher yield, the Indica is an ideal plant for inexperienced growers.

Sativa
Sativa originates from warmer areas, so if you’re growing outdoors in a warm place - surely not in the Netherlands - then it’s better to grow a Sativa. Sativa’s are a little harder to maintain than Indica’s. On the other hand, they are more resistant to mould.
Of course you can also go for a hybrid. This type can be an advantage because with a hybrid you have best of both worlds. One big thing though: you do need to know whether it is more of an Indica or a Sativa.
