How does a vaporizer work?

In our shop you can find several vape pens, a good alternative to smoking a tobacco joint with weed or hash. But how does a vape pen actually work? And why use one?

A vaporizer can be compared to a small oven. It does not burn the plant material, but heats it to a temperature between 157ºC and 226ºC. This means that there is no active smoke, but only the THC evaporates. The plant material changes shape by increasing the temperature. The solid substance then changes into a gas, which you breathe in.

The substance THC evaporates as early as 157°C and CBD at a temperature between 180 and 226°C. This makes the effects easy to control with the temperature of the vaporizer.

It not only saves you money in the long run because you don’t need other supplies like rolling paper or tobacco, it’s also more efficient because you smoke your weed pure, and therefore most people think it tastes better.
