Gummies, chocolate, cake, soda’s: sometimes it’s more than food. When food contains THC, we call it edibles. So how does this work?
Most edibles are infused with THC. Infusion refers to the process of infusing cannabis into a fat-soluble substance like butter or oil. Cannabutter, cannabis coconut oil, cannabis cooking oil, and other infusions are examples.

The cannabis infusion is then utilized to manufacture baked goods such as brownies, cookies and other treats. Weed can also be infused with alcohol and turned into a tincture, as well as candies, which are one of the most popular consumables.
Edibles are known to be potent, so use caution when taking them. When it comes to edibles, we usually advise newcomers and seasoned stoners alike to “go low and go slow”—take a small amount at first to establish potency, then wait until the effects set in.
